My first experience ever taking a vehicle to an auto repair place without fear of being taken advantage of due to my gender. I consider myself to be a well educated woman but I admittedly know very little about cars. My husband recommended Babcock and suggested we consider making them our auto repair place of choice, for all needs from small and minor to more costly. He absolutely made the right choice. I could not have been happier with my experience there. The front office staff greeted me kindly, and it was a very welcoming environment. Though I went in there for a minor problem, my vehicle was given a thorough check so I could be made aware of any future maintenance, as well as emergent needs. I did not have the slightest trace of the anxiety I have felt in any other similar business I have entered. I certainly did not mind waiting for my vehicle to be done, as there was a comfy seating area, as well as coffee available, plenty of magazines and a flat screen TV. I forgot for a few minutes I was even somewhere getting my vehicle inspected. I’m not by habit very trusting of these types of businesses simply because of bad past experiences, but I was more than pleasantly surprised by how I was treated, by the thoroughness of the inspection my vehicle received, and by the amount of time they spent outlining what they noticed, areas of concern, etc. It did not just put me at ease, but it felt refreshingly honest. They were not there to suggest repairs that were not needed. It put me at ease. I feel very safe taking my car to Babcock for any future needs and would highly recommend it to others. Whether you need an oil change or a new transmission, stop by and see Steve or Dan. You will not be disappointed!!
