Creme De Menthe Cake ~ Gluten Free

Are you looking for a festive St. Patricks Day dessert? This lovely cake is just your ticket to impress whoever you make it for! The inside is green and brown with a mild pistachio flavor. I don't like pistachio pudding but this is one of my favorite recipes!
Ingredients
Cake
- 1 pkg yellow Betty Crocker GF cake mix
- 1 pkg instant pistachio pudding
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup water, less 2 Tbsp
- 2 Tbsp Creme de Menthe
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup Hershey's chocolate syrup
Chocolate Frosting
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 6 Tbsp milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Cake
Mix all ingredients for 2 minutes (except the chocolate syrup). Put 2/3 of the mixture into a greased bunt pan. Add the chocolate syrup to the remaining batter and mix well. Pour this on top of the first mixture. Bake at 350-degrees for 50 minute or until done. Let cool for 10 minutes; invert onto a plate. When cool, drizzle with chocolate frosting.
Chocolate Frosting
Mix first 3 ingredients together and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Beat until smooth. Drizzle over cake.
