From May of 2018 until May of 2019 our family (The Babcock's) and many others in the community were meeting each week at the Civic Center in a group where we streamed in Eagle Brook Church (EBC) from one of the eight campuses in the Twin Cities. The experience and messages have been transformational to our family and we, along with many others have been praying that EBC would expand to include Rochester, MN. On May 18-19, 2019 the announcement that we all hoped and prayed for came - Eagle Brook's ninth location will be in Rochester!
This exciting news has come at the ideal time - as Rochester is in the first stages of Destination Medical Center (DMC) where many people will be moving into our community over the next several years. Not only that, but statics show there are over 80,000 people who already reside in Rochester do not have a church they call home. Furthermore, thousands of visitors from all over the world visit Rochester as patients or medical residents every single year. With the decision of EBC to open a campus here, it opens the opportunity to continue in their mission to reach people for Christ in a huge way - potentially all over the world. Though some are in Rochester, MN only temporarily, they can take EBC with them when them move since EBC has a huge online community as well.
