About Us


Our Shop—how it came to be and who we serve

With many years of automotive repair experience, we opened our first shop in Rochester, MN with partners in 2002. After much prayer and consideration, seeing that our goals were no longer the same, we dissolved the partnership in March of 2011. With support and encouragement from our loyal customers, family and friends we decided to open a new automotive repair shop. After leasing and remodeling a facility in NW Rochester, we opened the doors to Babcock Auto Care on July 1st, 2011 with the combined goal of Building Relationships One Vehicle At A Time. Knowing we cannot obtain this goal on our own we have worked hard to create a team that has our same goal of building relationships while providing excellent auto repair and maintenance services to our customers in Rochester and surrounding areas. Being the home of the Mayo Clinic, there are many visitors to our area seeking medical treatment. It is our joy to offer honest and complete auto care when these guests are in need as well. With the plans for Destination Medical Center (DMC), we are excited to offer our services to many in the future as Rochester grows.

Our Family and who we are

We (Jeremy and Jeana) have been married since 1997. We have 4 children. Our oldest, Jake is in the US Marines and is currently serving his eighth year. Our second son, Jayden started his Freshman year at Illinois Tech in Chicago this fall. Our youngest two children—Jace and Briella are in High School in Byron. We work hard to balance our family at home and our family at the shop—always doing it the best we can, even if we sometimes fail. Through our journey as husband and wife, as parents and as business owners, we rely on the help of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus to get us through each day, learning from our failures and striving to grow and be better. It is our goal to work in whatever we do as if doing it for the Lord (Col 3:23-24). We’ve had many challenges but also many blessings—our children, our business family and our customers who entrust their vehicles to us.

Our Advisors—their commitment to customer satisfaction

As a family owned and operated business, we personally work hard, along with our team and strive for 100% customer satisfaction. Our team consists of friendly and knowledgeable Service Advisors who are the bridge between our customers and the technicians that service their vehicles. They are the relationship builders as they listen to each customer and the reason for their visit, relay this to the technician and then advise the customer of what is needed to repair any issues as well as help them schedule and prioritize any maintenance services needed.

Our Technicians—delivering quality service

Our team of experienced and well educated ASE Certified and Master Certified technicians use their skill and knowhow to diagnose each vehicle and assess its overall health. They use the latest automotive technology and have access to state of the art automotive diagnostic tools and machines to best service both import and domestic vehicles. In striving to provide the best care, our technicians record their findings of all vehicles digitally, taking any pictures needed so that we can visually show our customers important problems that need repair or services that need to be done.

Our Express Lane—for customer convenience and healthy cars

As time evolves, so has our Express Lane. Our Express Lane model started five years ago with a manager and full staff to service your car in a first-come first-serve basis. After five years of serving customers in this fashion, we found it extremely difficult to find the right, caring team members, staffed full-time, to service our customers. Therefore, on April 1, 2017 we changed our model to include an ONLINE OIL CHANGE SCHEDULER, allowing us to block our specific time in our schedule so that your appointment is a priority. This innovative idea became implemented based on our desire to provide exceptional quality and even more convenience to our customers. At the time of your appointment, our Service Technician will not only change the oil in your car with the grade of Mobil oil that you choose, but will also perform a digital inspection of your vehicle using an iPad. This inspection stays on file and will allow us to follow the progress of your vehicle’s health over the years and email you the results so we can help you make educated decisions in maintenance and service your vehicle requires. We do recognize that some customers will prefer to stop in without an appointment. Of course we will still welcome you and promise to do everything we can to accommodate you as our technicians become available. We will also be able to give you a more accurate estimate of the time it will take to service your vehicle so that we can honor your valuable time.

Our Facility—for customer comfort and ease

In addition to having the best automotive team in Rochester, we have designed our facility with our customer’s comfort in mind by creating a cozy lobby, free wifi, and a children’s play area. We also understand that our customers may not have the flexibility to wait for automotive repairs. Therefore, we also offer a free shuttle service—our friendly drivers are happy to get our customers to their home or workplace anywhere in Rochester.
