"A couple of years ago, the night before Thanksgiving, I was traveling to our daughter's home. I had stopped in Rochester to pick up some pies at Sam's Club. Just as I was turning into the parking lot, my "engine hot" light came on and the engine began to power down. I knew that I could not continue to drive. Someone suggested that I go to Babcock Auto as they were open until 6:00 pm. I arrived there after 5:30 pm. They looked at the car and discovered that the water pump needed to be replaced. Since I was an hour from home and an hour from my destination and since the next day was a holiday, they agreed to stay late to do the necessary replacement. They were so kind to me that I decided to return to Babcock's whenever I could. Recently, I had some issues with my ABS light coming on. I had gone to my local dealership in December and January and had repairs done on both occasions. In February, I was driving home from my daughter's house when the light came on again. The car began to drive very roughly. Finally, a light saying "ABS off" came on. It was sleeting and I was heading into an area of glare ice. I decided to stop in Rochester and go to Babcock's once again. That was my "safe haven". Again, they worked me into their schedule and discovered the underlying problem with my ABS light. I have never been treated better than I was at Babcock's. They fixed my car and calmed my nerves. They really gave me peace of mind.
